Beginning in November, 1988, the company was formed for the sole purpose of supplying quality remanufactured EMD Roots style Blowers to the railroad industry. Starting as a one-product company, production of the highest quality product in the market was and still is the goal and driving force of our company. 

Our customer base for EMD Roots style Blowers now expands into all areas of the rail industry; Class I, Class II and III Short Lines and even the Transit Rail Lines. Additional expansions include the Marine industry along with Industrial plants. 

Market requirements of the Short Line and Regional Railroads are well served by EngineAir’s finished Blower inventory. In general, 20-30 remanufactured blowers are ready for shipment at any time. All EMD Roots Blowers are rebuilt to better than the OEM’s specifications.
 
Our Quality Management System (QMS) and AAR Certifications have helped to provide successful expansion into additional products for the Rail, Marine, and Industrial industry that include various pumps, radiators, oil coolers, aftercoolers, intercoolers, fuel preheaters, aux gen drives, and governor drives for both EMD and GE engines.
