EngineAir was founded by Jack Matthews and first began operations in November of 1988. The company was formed for the sole purpose of supplying quality remanufactured EMD Roots style Blowers to the railroad industry. Since EngineAir was a one-product company, production of the highest quality product in the market was and is the goal and driving force of our company.
Continued dedication to the highest quality standards controlled by an outstanding Quality Management System has provided a straight path to AAR-M1003 Certification.
Our customer base for EMD Roots style Blowers now expands into all areas of the rail industry; Class I, Class II and III Short Lines and even the Transit Rail Lines. In general, 20-30 remanufactured blowers are ready for shipment at any time. All EMD Roots Blowers are rebuilt to better than the OEM’s specifications.
